The morning light crept through the sheer curtains, painting soft golden stripes across the tangled landscape of the bed. The air hung thick with the raw musk of sweat and sex, the mingled scent of four bodies steeped in their own juices. Rajiv stirred first, flat on his back, Priya’s head heavy on his left shoulder, Meher’s on his right. Beyond Meher, his father Vikram lay on his side, one weathered hand splayed possessively over the curve of Meher’s bare hip, his breathing deep and even. The sight, which yesterday would have shattered his world, now pooled low in his groin, a thick, peaceful arousal. He was inside the circle now, no longer the clueless husband, and the memory of the night pulsed behind his eyes, bodies rutting in frantic, slick unison, a symphony of grunts and wails that ended in a shared, shattering flood.
Priya stirred against him, her dark eyes fluttering open. A slow, sated smile curved her lips, still slightly swollen from use. She looked past him at Meher and Vikram and her smile deepened, possessive and proud. That glance. He was part of it now, fluent in its silent, filthy language.
