A week slipped by like silk through fingers. Meera saw Arjun twice more, each encounter a fierce, consuming blaze that left her body humming and her mind spinning. He took her to his flat in Hauz Khas one evening, all dark wood and expensive silence, and kissed her against the cold marble kitchen counter until her legs forgot how to stand. But he didn't push further, not yet. "Jaldbaazi nahi," he had murmured against her throat, his voice a controlled growl. "When I take you, I want you completely ready. Completely mine." The restraint in his dominance was somehow more arousing than the dominance itself, and she had returned to her hostel dizzy with unfulfilled ache.
But it was Rohan she was meeting today.
